Crown of glory

     Wednesday with Jesus

Dear Bretheren in Christ,

"Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained by living a godly life."  -Proverbs 16:31

Bible often taught values that quietly oppose the spirit of the world. While society admires youth, speed, and outward beauty, the Lord honors endurance, faithfulness, and a life steadily aligned with God. Gray hair, in His sight, is not a fading of life but a testimony of a journey walked with Him.
Every year lived in reverence to God adds weight to this “crown.” It speaks of prayers whispered, battles fought, temptations resisted, and trust maintained even in uncertainty. A godly life is not built in a moment—it is formed through time, and time leaves its mark, not as loss, but as glory.
The elderly are not to be overlooked but respected, for they carry within them the quiet wisdom of experience. To honor them is to honor the work of God in their lives.

Lord Jesus, I thank You for the gift of years You have graciously given me. Through joys and sorrows, victories and failures, You have been faithful in every season of my life. As I look back, I see Your hand guiding, correcting, and sustaining me.
Thank You for every lesson learned, every trial that shaped me, and every moment that drew me closer to You. Help me to finish well, to remain faithful, and to reflect Your peace and wisdom to those who come after me. Amen.

Prayerful regards,
