God of Generosity

WEDNESDAY WITH LORD JESUS

Grace and peace to you in the Name of Lord Jesus Christ!
Dear Bretheren in Christ,

"Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or do you begrudge my generosity? So the last will be first, and the first last." -Matthew 20:15–16

This parable reminds us that God's kingdom runs on grace, not merit. Whether we’ve served long or just begun, the reward is the same—God’s presence and eternal life.

God is generous beyond what we think is "fair." Our role is not to compare, but to be grateful we are called to labor in His vineyard at all.
So let us serve not with comparison or competition, but with gratitude and humility, trusting that God's generosity is always just and good.
Reflection:
Do I celebrate God's grace in others’ lives, or do I compare?

Lord, teach us to serve with joy, not jealousy. Help us rejoice in Your grace for all.
In Your Holy Name we pray, Amen.

Prayerful regards,
