No season is final

Dear Bretheren in Christ,

Stress often convinces us that the present moment is permanent. When pain lingers, when answers delay, the heart whispers, “This is how it will always be.” In God’s economy, no season is final—except His love and His promises.
“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”
— 2 Corinthians 4:17

Throughout Scripture, we see that situations change, but God remains the same. Night turns into morning. Tears give way to joy. The cross is followed by the resurrection. Jesus never denied the reality of suffering, yet He constantly reminded His disciples that trouble has an expiry date. “In this world you will have trouble,” He said, “but take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

Stress grows when we carry tomorrow’s burden with today’s strength. Jesus invites us instead to trust the Father one day at a time. What overwhelms us now will not overwhelm us forever. God either changes the situation, or He changes us within it—and both are acts of grace.
God is at work even when nothing seems to move. Silence is not stagnation; it is often preparation.

Reflection:
Don’t stress yourself too much—not because life is easy, but because God is faithful. What troubles you today is not your destination. Jesus walks with you through the valley, and valleys always lead somewhere else.

Lord Jesus, help me trust You in seasons that feel heavy and unchanging. Teach my heart to rest, knowing that You are already at work. I place my present and my future safely in Your hands. Amen.
Prayerful regards,
