Dear youn friends in Christ,

“Guard me as you would guard your own eyes;
hide me in the shadow of your wings.” — Psalm 17:8

Teenage life brings pressure, exposure, and many confusing voices. David’s prayer reminds us that God cares deeply about every detail of our lives. Just as we instinctively protect our eyes, God watches over you with careful, personal attention. Your struggles, temptations, and tears truly matter to Him.

“Hide me in the shadow of your wings” shows God’s closeness. Like a mother bird protecting her young, God covers those who stay near Him. His protection is strongest when you choose prayer, Scripture, and obedience.

When you feel tempted, unsafe, or misunderstood, remember: staying close to God keeps you under His wings.

What you allow into your eyes and mind shapes your future. Choose wisely and stay under God’s covering.

Lord, guard my heart and keep me close under Your wings. Amen.
