Shine your advent days

Dear Bretheren in Christ,

“Because of the tender mercy of our God… the Rising Sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.”
Luke 1:78–79

Today, in this Advent season, Jesus speaks softly to our waiting heart: “I am coming with light.” Advent is the season of holy expectation—when heaven bends low and whispers, “Hope is near.” The world may feel dark, heavy, unsettled, or confusing, but Advent reminds us that God steps into darkness with a dawn that cannot be stopped.

Lord Jesus comes not only to the world, but to our personal darkness—our hidden worries, unanswered prayers, longings, and silent tears. He comes as the Rising Sun, warming cold hearts, healing deep wounds, and guiding wandering feet into peace.

Advent invites us to slow down, breathe deeply, and look toward the Light that never fails.

Lord Jesus, shine Your Advent light into my waiting heart. Guide me from my shadows into Your peace, and help me welcome You with faith and joy. Amen.

Prayerful regards,
