Sorry, Father Almighty...

Dear Bretheren in Christ,

'Finally, I confessed all my sins to You and stopped trying to hide my guilt… And You forgave me! All my guilt is gone.'
— Psalm 32:5 (NLT)

During Lent, Jesus gently calls us to confession, reconciliation, forgiveness, and forgetting. Confession breaks the silence of guilt. Reconciliation restores broken fellowship—with God and with others. Forgiveness releases both the offender and the offended. And forgetting does not erase memory, but it removes the power of sin to accuse you again.
A room kept closed for years gathers dust and stale air. The moment the windows are opened, light enters and fresh air flows in. Confession is opening the window of the soul. The dust of guilt settles no longer, and the breath of grace renews the heart.

Confession is not informing God of what He  already know; it is freeing our heart from what we carry alone. When we confess, we step out of darkness into truth. We agree with God that sin wounds us, distances us, and burdens our soul—but we also agree that God's mercy is greater than our failure.

Jesus reminds us:
When we confess, God cleanses.
When we reconcile, God restores.
When we forgive, God heals.
When we let go, God makes all things new.

Lord Jesus, give me a humble heart to confess honestly and the courage to forgive freely during this holy Lent. Cleanse me, reconcile me, and teach me to forget what You have already forgiven.Amen.

Prayerful regards,
