Stop sinning
Hey dear young friends in Christ,
“See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.” — John 5:14
Jesus spoke these words to a man He had just healed. Imagine that moment—after years of suffering, he is finally whole again. But Jesus doesn’t stop with healing the body; He goes deeper and speaks to the heart. He reminds the man that physical healing is not enough—true life comes when we turn away from sin.
Dear young friends, today many people want blessings without change. We pray for success, health, and peace, but sometimes we hold on to habits that slowly damage our soul—small lies, disobedience, unhealthy friendships, secret sins. Jesus lovingly warns us: don’t go back to what once hurt you.
Sin may look small at first, but it grows. A careless choice today can become a chain tomorrow. Jesus is not threatening us—He is protecting us. Like a loving parent, He says, “Don’t go that way again. It leads to pain.”
The good news is this: Jesus not only forgives, He empowers. When He says “sin no more,” He also gives you strength through His presence. You are not alone in this journey.
Reflection :
So today, take a quiet moment and ask yourself: What is that one thing Jesus is asking me to leave behind? Be honest. Surrender it. Choose a better path.
Remember, true healing is not just being freed from problems—it is being freed from the power of sin. Walk in that freedom.
Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me enough to correct me. Give me strength to turn away from every sin and walk in Your truth. Amen.
Jesus loves you!
