Tie them around your neck

Hey dear young friends in Christ,

“Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart.”
— Proverbs 3:3 (NLT)

It’s easy to talk about love and kindness. We say kind words, post encouraging messages, and promise loyalty to friends. But God is not looking for words alone—He is looking for a life that lives it out.

The verse gives us two powerful pictures:
“Tie them around your neck” – Like something visible. People should see your kindness and loyalty in your daily behavior.
“Write them on your heart” – It must come from inside, not just for show.

Real love shows up when:
You stand by a friend when others walk away.
You choose honesty even when lying is easier.
You help someone who cannot repay you.
You forgive instead of holding grudges.

Kindness is not weakness—it is strength under control.
Loyalty is not blind attachment—it is faithful commitment to what is right.

Let’s be real:
You can say you care, but if your actions don’t match, people notice. God notices too.

Challenge:
Today, don’t just feel love—show it.
Don’t just think kindness—practice it.

Pick one simple action:
Encourage someone who feels down
Help at home without being asked
Stand up for someone being treated unfairly

Remember:
Your life is louder than your words.

Lord, write kindness and loyalty deep in my heart. Help me to live what I believe, not just speak it. Amen.
Jesus loves you!
