WEDNESDAY WITH JESUS
Grace and peace to you in the Name of Lord Jesus Christ!
Dear Bretheren in Christ,
There are moments in life when we feel far away from God—when prayer seems like words tossed into the air. Yet, Scripture assures us that the Lord is near to all who sincerely call upon Him. Nearness here does not mean distance measured in miles, but the intimacy of His presence in our hearts:
“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” — Psalm 145:18
Think of a child waking in the night, frightened by a shadow. The moment the parent whispers, “I’m here,” peace returns. In the same way, when we cry out to God in truth, He bends His ear toward us, closer than our breath. We don’t have to climb mountains or perform rituals; His nearness is a gift of grace.
Let this verse remind you today: whenever your heart feels heavy, whisper a prayer—He is already near, waiting to strengthen and comfort you.
Lord Jesus, thank You for being near whenever we call. Teach us to seek You with honest hearts and rest in Your comforting presence. Amen.
Prayerful regards,
