IN TIMES OF LONG WAITING

Why doesn’t God turn up and make things better?

God’s answer: “Wait and see what I will do.”

Waiting is one of life’s best teachers. While we wait we learn the importance of  waiting—waiting while God works in us and for us. It’s in waiting that we grow in endurance, which means being able to trust God’s love and goodness, even when things aren’t going our way (Ps. 70:5).

But waiting should not be boring, anxious or full of doubt. We can “rejoice and be glad in [Him]” while we wait (Ps.37:4). We wait in confidence, knowing that God will step in and give us what we need at just the right time. God is never in a hurry, but He’s always on time.

Psalm 37:7 'Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.'

BELOVED HEAVENLY FATHER,  IN TIMES OF LONG WAITING, YOU'RE MY GREATEST COMFORT!
Jesus Loves You!
