Obeying God Even When It’s Hard
Dear beloved children,
Obedience might not sound exciting—but it’s a key to real freedom. When you follow God’s ways, you're not being restricted—you’re being protected. Obeying God shows that you trust Him more than your own feelings or peer pressure.
“If you love me, keep my commands.” – John 14:15
Sometimes obedience means saying no to a trend, owning up to a mistake, or listening to a parent or teacher when it's the last thing you feel like doing. But every time you obey, you’re training your heart to hear God more clearly and grow in strength.
Remember: Obedience isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being willing. Jesus obeyed the Father all the way to the cross. If He could obey in love, so can we.
Lord, help me to obey You, even when it’s tough. Teach me to trust that Your commands are good and that they lead to life. Give me a heart that listens, learns, and follows You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Jesus loves you!
