Your choices matters

Hi Teenagers! Let’s take a few minutes today to think about life, choices, and God’s plan for you.

Life is full of choices—what friends to keep, how to spend your time, what habits to form, and how to respond to challenges. Every decision may look small, but like drops of water filling a jar, they shape your future.

Remember, choices create character. A teenager who chooses discipline in studies, respect at home, honesty with friends, and faith in God is building a strong foundation for life. On the other hand, careless choices—wrong company, harmful addictions, laziness, or lying—can damage years of effort.

The Bible says in Deuteronomy 30:19: “I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.” God invites you to make wise choices because He cares for your tomorrow.

Here’s a simple key: before making a choice, ask—Will this please God? Will this build me up or break me down? If you learn to pause and pray before choosing, you’ll save yourself from regrets.

Thought for the week:
Your future is hidden inside today’s decisions. Choose wisely, choose godly, choose life.

Lord, help me to make choices that honor You and bless my life. Guide my steps so that every decision draws me closer to Your will.
Jesus loves you!
