Dear Bretheren in Christ,

Scripture: “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.” — Isaiah 66:13

A mother is one of God’s most mystical and marvelous creations. In His infinite wisdom, God chose to share a sacred part of His creative power with her. No other earthly role reflects divine partnership like motherhood. Through her body, God forms life; through her heart, God shapes souls. A mother’s love is often the first glimpse a child receives of the heart of God.

Her unconditional love, tireless perseverance, hidden sacrifices, and unending patience reveal the quiet miracles of her life. She is the nourishing fountain from which every human resource begins. From her lap rise leaders, from her sacrifices emerge strong families, and from her prayers generations find hope. No matter her age, strength, or circumstance, a mother carries within her a divine fragrance—care, compassion, and a willingness to give even when nothing is left to give.

Lord Jesus invites us today to honor, cherish, and deeply respect all mothers. Whether biological, adoptive, or spiritual, mothers are God’s gentle instruments of creation and continuation—carriers of life, love, and legacy.

A young boy once asked his mother, “How do you love so much without getting tired?”
She smiled and replied, “Because every time I give love, God fills me again.”
That is the mystery of a mother—an earthly vessel refreshed by a heavenly stream.

Lord Jesus, thank You for the gift of mothers and the divine touch You place in their hearts. Fill every mother with strength, comfort, and joy today. Amen.
