In His Hand
Dear Bretheren in Christ,
“I was strengthened because the hand of the LORD my God was upon me.” (Ezra 7:28)
There are moments in life when strength does not come from muscle, money, or human support. It comes quietly, firmly, from above. Ezra stood before a massive task—rebuilding worship, restoring truth, leading people back to God’s ways. He did not say, “I was confident because of my skills,” or “I succeeded because people backed me.” He said, “I was strengthened because the hand of the LORD my God was on me.” The strength Ezra experienced was the presence of God.
Jesus reminds us today that divine strength often appears when human strength runs out. When responsibilities feel heavy, when obedience feels costly, when the road ahead looks uncertain, God’s hand rests upon those who seek Him sincerely. That hand does not always remove the challenge, but it supplies courage, clarity, endurance, and peace. Like a child learning to walk, we move forward not because our legs are strong, but because a loving hand holds us steady.
When we stay connected to God through prayer, obedience, and trust, His hand strengthens us exactly where we feel weakest. What God calls you to, His hand empowers you to complete.
Lord Jesus, I confess my weakness and receive Your strength today. Let Your hand rest upon my life, guiding me, strengthening me, and helping me fulfill Your purpose with courage and faith. Amen.
Prayerful regards,
