Jehovah Jireh!
Wednesday with Jesus
Dear Bretheren in Christ,
Theme: “The God Who Is More Than Enough”
“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19
Jesus reminds us today that we should never imagine God as limited—limited by resources, by time, or by our circumstances. When Paul wrote these words to the Philippians, he was not sitting in comfort but in need himself. Yet he confidently declared that God would supply all their needs, not according to human calculations, but according to God’s inexhaustible riches in glory.
Often our faith shrinks when needs increase. We look at our emptiness instead of His fullness. But God asks the same question He asked Moses: “Is the Lord’s arm too short?” -Numbers 11:23.
What looks impossible to us is ordinary work for Him.
A small child once worried that there would not be enough food at home. The father gently said, “You only see the table; I see the store, the money, and the plan.” In the same way, we see only today’s need, but God sees the whole supply line of tomorrow. Trust grows when we learn to see life through the eyes of faith, not fear. Jehovah Jireh!
Do not measure God by your situation. Measure your situation by the greatness of your God. Believe that He can act, He will act, and He always acts at the right time—for your good and His glory.
May the Lord fill your heart with peace, trust, and renewed faith as you walk with Jesus today.
Lord Jesus, forgive me for the times I doubted Your power and provision. Today I trust that Your arm is never too short and that You will supply all my needs according to Your glorious riches.
Amen.
Prayerful regards,
