Word to heart

Following God doesn’t begin with big promises or perfect behavior—it begins with a mind filled with God’s Word. That means God’s Word isn’t just read once and forgotten; it is thought about, remembered, and allowed to shape our choices.
“But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night.” — Psalm 1:2 (NLT)

Think of God’s Word like a GPS. If you don’t turn it on or listen to it, you may keep walking—but you’ll end up lost. In the same way, when we don’t know what God says, it becomes hard to follow where He leads. Meditation helps the Word move from the page into our heart, and from our heart into our daily actions—at home, at school, with friends, and online.

Knowing the Bible is  about learning God’s heart. When you regularly read and meditate on Scripture, God gently teaches you how to love, forgive, resist wrong choices, and live wisely. If you truly want to follow God more closely, start by listening closely to what He says.

Try This This Week:
Read one short Bible verse each day.
Think about it for a minute.
Ask: What is God teaching me today?

Lord, help me to love Your Word and think about it every day. Shape my thoughts, choices, and life through Your truth. Amen.
Jesus loves you!
